Golden State Warriors vs New Orleans Pelicans: Pelicans Punch Back

Posted on

The Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans faced off for game three of the Western Conference semis.

The Pelicans were able to battle the Warriors at their own game to hold off a 3-0 deficit and make the series competitive. The series is now at 2-1 in a first to 4.

While the heated confrontation of the Rajon Rondo and Draymon Green continues:

The Pelicans went on to give a square jaw shot at the Warriors’ to show that they’re not done.

The continuous movement of the Pelicans defense, with the willingness to push the ball as fast as the Warriors; showed absolute grit against the lackadaisical effort put forth by the Warriors.

Behind a brilliant performance from Playoff Rondo, the Pelicans came back to demolish the Warriors.

Defense and Rondo’s ability to create within Alvin Gentry’s offense pushed the Pelicans to win game 3.

Perhaps the series will yield a battle that many called for in the new modern era of 2015+ style basketball that both teams try to aim for.
